 There are a variety of ways for someone to participate in blogging and the type of blog varies greatly. Blogging can be done by Genre i.e. subject. Popular ones that fall into this category are travel blogs, political blogs, fashion blogs and education blogs. Blogging can be catagorised by media type and by this we mean it could contain video, photo or sketches. They can be catagorised by the device that is used to update the blog such as a PDA or mobile phone.
Personal blogging is popular as a way of keeping in touch with friends and family. These blogs do not usually rise to any great fame unless of course they are being written by someone already famous! Blogging Search Engines exist now to search through blog contents online, this being known as the Blogosphere and updating there searches allowing people to locate relevant blogs and new updates. Also available are blogging communities and directories that connect blogs to other bloggers and form networks. All these different methods and types of blogging has opened up a world of online info available to everyone. |
